Peachy Coral hair guide

HEYO,

My hair is peach coral pink! Keep reading for a guide on how to get this hair colour.

Firstly I would like to mention that my lovely trained hairdresser friend did my hair for me. I have done it myself in the past but I find bleaching it myself really hard as I always miss out chunks at the back. She started out by bleaching my roots as I had about two months regrowth. She used TIGI powder bleach mixed with 20 volume developer. She also added some L’Oreal Smartbond into the mixture, which protects and strengthens your hair during a lightening or bleaching treatment. This is brilliant if you are bleaching on top of already bleached or lightened hair. We let it develop for around 30 minutes and then she went ahead and applied a second coat of the bleach formula just to make sure she had got all the darker areas of hairs. This then developed for a further 20-30 minutes. Now my hair takes a lot of time to lighten as I’m naturally dark brown but if your hair is lighter it will most likely take less, so be weary of this when dying your own hair. When my time was up we rinsed the bleach with warm water, making sure it was all out and my hair was clean. We applied the Crazy Colour toner in the shade Peachy Coral fully saturating the hair from root to tip. My friend gave me a mini head massage as this helps the product to get to the roots. It also helps me, never going to say no to a cheeky head massage! We left the toner on for about 10-15 minutes. With toners you have to constantly check them, as some take to the hair quicker than others. To do this you clean a strand of hair to see the colour result. The toner was then rinsed out with warm water, the hair conditioned and rinsed. She then did a wet cut and styled it for me and it looks beautiful.

I’m really pleased with the overall result, it came out more pinky than I imagined but I love the effect. It’s a sort of ombre peach pink. I’m excited to see how it looks next time when it should take all over. What do you guys think? Have you ever tried any crazy hair colours? Let me know in the comments and of course don’t forget to follow me on instagram, where you can undoubtedly find more photos of my new hair!

CYA xoxo
